The data and graph are both produced by CDIAC (Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center). This website contains many research result and analyzed data for carbon emission.  Around 365 billion metric tonnes of carbon have been released to the atmosphere. Most of them were coming from the consumption of fossil fuels. The above graphs show the annual global fossil-fuel carbon emissions. The first graph indicates the carbon emissions for the total amount and several kinds of fossil fuels from 1751 to 2010. The bottom one illustrates the contribution for each type of fossil fuel.
