Figure 1:  the global map of the unemployment percentage by country in 2012

Description:

The data source of this visualization is THE WORLD BANK which is an international organization, a component of the World Bank Group, and a member of the United Nations Development Group. Hence, I think the data from THE WORLD BANK is very reliable.

When dealing with the data, I found that the data is not complete because there is no data for some countries. And the data is just the unemployment percentage. For some countries with lower unemployment percentage, but the total number of unemployment people in that country may be relatively higher. Therefore, these are the limitations in this data. For improving the information expressed by this data, the total number of unemployment people by country is advised to be added in.

This dataset is interesting because it is not just the data for one country but for whole world. It delivers the information that in which country it is relatively easier to find a job. After finishing the global map of the unemployment percentage by country in 2012, it is directly shows me the extent of unemployment by country. And it is easily known that highest unemployment percentage is 31 and the lowest one is 6 according to the data.
